I have been waiting since Launch Day for a truly great Xbox Live Arcade game, and on March 14, 2007 I finally got it in TMNT: The Arcade Game. The gameplay has stood the test of time and is still a truly fun experience that you can play over and over again. The game has also finally utilized the online co-op abilities that so many Xbox Live Arcade games have tried to utilize but for the most part have failed. The graphics are nostalgic old-school arcade graphics and thankfully Ubisoft and Konami didn't do much to try and touch them up, and left it in its raw old-school form. The game is challenging if you have forgotten the the jump kick is the most effective move in the game, but the unlimited continues allow even noobs to beat the game. Speaking of the unlimited continues, that is my only complaint about the game. I was hoping for a set number so it would be a little more challenging, but my wish was not fulfilled. Other than that, the game is terrific and is fun for everyone, not just people like me who played it as a child. TMNT: The Arcade Game is a def. must buy for any gamer who owns an Xbox 360 and Xbox Live.
