    this game looks good. the graphics seem decent..may not be outstanding..but arn't bad either. i'm a hardcore fps fan and love playing such games. can't wait to play it.

    this game kicks ass! whats the deal with a dumbed down Unreal?? Unreal was just simple arena point, click, kill... Arena fighting is arena fighting always will be, just like driving will be driving and fighting will be fighting. and the short jump (flight) you get is good it stops just running and jumping sideways in lil circles until one of you is dead. Robots and tanks are also cool. this game kicks ass!

    Looks like a dumbed down Unreal Tournament or somthing. Whats the deal with jumping 100 yards in the air? Robots? Bah!

    looks alot like tribes for me, that was a good game, realy fun, but got old. no more widescreen support etc... but was realy good. i think this will aswell

    Honestly, this game looks as good if not better than Unreal Turnament, seeing as how it's for the 360 and unreal isnt. The game play looks smoothe and the load-outs look awesome, I really like how customizable they are and that you can swap mid battle by calling in those munition pods. I'm really looking forward to this game.

    And the gameplay especially at the beggining, which is the actual gameplay (how you gonna play it most of the time) is similar to Unreal Tournament a game dating over a decade ago so this is crap presented as candy.

    Hmm, i don't know...It's looking like one of those frantic multiplayer Battlefield clones, mixed with a dash of Halo, stirred with a Frontlines spoon, garnished with a sprig of Quake Wars and flung in to your eyes by an insulted woman at the bar.

    no that movie is actually called district 9. its basically about aliens coming to earth, friendly ones i might add, but the humans segragate them because they're racist towards the aliens. nothing like this game.

    Tribes was one of my all-time favorite games, so if this game can capture some of that magic, I'll def be looking into it

    Hmm, could go either way. Either loads of fun or way too derivative. Plus I'm used to iron-sights now, a shooter without it just doesn't feel precise enough, so if i'm gonna consider this for my collection it had best be as frenetic as Left 4 Dead.

    this looks half rubbish, half entertaining. They need to cut out some of the crap like falling from the sky and landing on your hands, I know it's supposed to be cool but it comes off so try-hard it hurts to watch

    A ripoff?? Seriously, what fps isn't a "ripoff" of a previous title? The first fps is the only original. Every game since has taken those core values that made it great and built upon them. Try playing the game before you pass judgment.

    looks cool certainly, but thats what the promo videos point are. Tribes definitely came to mind when i saw this. We will just have to wait and see how it ultimately plays :/ If this game was from valve I might have higher expectations

    I LOVE the melee takedowns. Hopefully, this will be implemented in-game rather just included in pre-rendered movies.

    In any case, an opportunity for innovation is introducing and tweaking a variety of factors that influence the landing of troops. It has been mentioned earlier that there are automated anti-aircraft guns that make landing close to them rather dangerous. I wonder if there are other factors, like weather, orbital battles that put pressure on pre-dropping, etc.

    I would like to know the backstory for the reason of the phasing out of troop transports that actually make insertions, which apparently have been replaced by orbital transports that just dump their load into the atmosphere.

    Perhaps anti-aircraft or anti-orbital weaponry has grown so advanced that troop insertions close to the objective is no longer feasible?

    do all shooters have to be dubbed a halo or a CoD rip-off? correct me if im wrong but i dont remember starting any halo or CoD game in space and jumping down onto a planet
