    geedotherodian: yes, you can attack directly using melee weapons, as well as a whole bunch of spells that you aquire throughout the game.

    I only have the game since today, but one thing that I dislike is the fact that the 'heroes' that you have to kill aren't the great heroes you would expect. They are evil heroes, men twisted by the money and fame they have got. They do evil now but for 'good' reasons, which make them a threath to your plans of creating a world of evil.

    Well, I picked this up 2 days ago and havent been able to put this down. Great game...and to think I almost missed this one! Can't wait for Part 2 !

    maybe for games like this you should play it on the pc and have better CONTROL!. consoles are not made for RTS or RPG. Halo Wars will be fail.

    I find it a bad review in the sense that he speaks mostly about the minions and the controls, he doesn't mention the humour, the rebuilding of the tower, the longevity of the game, the spells, the great voice acting, the bugs the game has or doesn't have, so many things...

    you can only be so evil because the games rated teen...
    thats not a down fall
    not all games have blood and guts
    its a comical game
    this review is not that good
    but i do agree with the control part
    but you get use to it
