    Gotta love an action title where the secret to finding a cure for a virus is to hack and slash a lot of monster types... Of course, a game spent entirely in a lab would be a little boring. "HURRY! TO THE BUNSEN BURNER!"

    looks cliche, noone saw it coming! yeah because i havnt heard that 1000 times before, square enix should seriously concentrate on making FF13 not crap games to impress the west

    This game is being published by Square Enix, also known as they have nothing to do with the developmental process of the title

    Cavia Inc. are the people who are actually making the game these guys are known for their Drakengard series

    oh man, square enix shouldn't be making games other than final fantasy and kingdom hearts... and maybe dragon quest if there is one. if they're gunna rush it like the xbox360 square enix rpg's then... no thank you. i will only play FFXIII. but this game looks good.

    whenever SE tried to impress the west they got served.

    i prefer to watch FFvXIII for the millionth time over this game
    and uberjannie, SE is just publishing it

    @electronic_eye : so what if you work in audio engineering? In political debates you dont hear them say : I know what im talking about, im a politician.
    Especially when it comes to audio with voice or music you cant really say its bad because its all about personal taste.
    Its the debate about the music in the dragon age origins trailers, all over again.

    OT :when Square Enix is in the picture, I might get this game.

    eh, pass. I know it's only a trailer but to me, the voice acting was very poor. And I'm not just talking out my a** - i work in audio engineering. but beyond that, yea, gameplay looks too much like a mixture of ninja gaiden and god of war too me. Give me something unique, which the premise at least is sort of.

    The last time Square Enix said this was when they were describing the Conqueror, one of the main characters in The Last Remnant. After having seen the trailer, I am quite sure Nier is designed using the same mold: middle-aged, muscle-bound and flowing hair.

    THESE are the things that "appeal" to the Western audience.

    I'm interested JUST enough to add this to my tracking list. Not really impressed by anything per se, but I'll keep my eye on it and see where it goes.

    Action adventure admitted not my fav genre, I will give this a miss but I'm sure it will please somes fans as well as disappoint others.

    square enix? making adventure games? action adventure?......mmmm really dont know, and now almost everything looks like a ripoff of god of war.....
