How do I solve Naruto?

I need some help how to get throw that part of the game where Naruto has been trapped and I should save him as Shikamaru. So how does it work? I dont know what to do or where to go. Could somebody help me and tell because Im really stuck in it...

To the left of where you are theres a path that you can take to activate a lever. Theres no way to lose it.
