    The first Mass Effect, Fallout 3, and Diablo 2 have taken countless hours out of my life and I can't wait for Mass Effect 2 or Diablo 3!

    Yah awsm list ddnt play alot of that collection but planning to well for me Am Still Addicted To Diablo 2 , Earth Worm Jim , Gran Turismo 2 . u can Call me And Oldie but u cant disagree these games are the greatest ever And i Wish They Make new Expansion For Oblivion and For Gods sake Dungeon Keeper They Have 2 make new One!!

    Borderlands and Fallout 3 are probably my favorite games of all time...yeah thats right CoD...your not my favorite at all!!! ahhh!!!!!SDFHAWEFashfahsdg;....

    sry bout that, but ya like if you played Borderlands for 200 hours, then took a break and played Fallout 3 for 200 hours (not in a row, i mean it would take a few months) you would never get bored...i was retarded and sold Fallout 3 cuz i was bored of it after 500 hours, but im goin to get it tomorrow (again)...its amazing...

    Does any one else just get this like..."feeling" from playing Fallout 3...idk its just a great game

    forza 3 never get old f... i can drive forever but RPGS kill me they are so long i love long games co there you see how they work with the story line and stuff is a big project can wait for GT5 that will be another classic

    At the moment its modern warfare 2 that takes a lot of time just to unlock all the multiplayer crap. Who would think you spend hours just trying to kill people with a throwing knife or sticking semtex to them. Next total lifewrecker for me will probably be Diablo III.

    Games im scared to get into:
    Counter Strike Source, Forza Motorsport/Gran Turismo series, Arcanum, and lastly Starcraft, MAN just thinking about all the hotkeys of the game makes me want to hide under my bed and suck my thumb.
    Terrifyingly long games worth playing i could recommend? well just look at World of Warcraft and Diablo, maybe the Elder Scrolls series... and of course, Fallout 1/2, how can they be SO old and still feel more real and openended than nowadays "sandbox" games?

    I agree with Fallout 3, man holy *Beep* that game was good. So many great memories. Just talking about it makes me want to start at it all over again. I've spend over 1000+ hours on that with all the expansions. I urge you to buy it because it is a very very good game.

    you know the game I'm not terrified to play is Demon's Souls. This game is so hard that I am giving it back...good riddance.

    I'll get MW2.

    @bredeyabo - maybe not AC1. but AC2? are you kidding me? it is incredibly time consuming, there are so many side missions and different things to collect, not to mention many different approaches to all the missions. and come on, trials HD isn't THAT time consuming either. yes its very good and very addictive but i'd put AC2 on there instead.

    in generally all rpg & racing game is ruin my social lives!
    talking about fallout 3, dragon age, is like my breakfast, lunch, dinner,
    & ma nightmare. looking forward for borderland to play tough! because MW2 is only last half of ma day in veteran level! great game, but still too fast for me!

    this game list indeed become the source of ma unsocialized live
    i better call ma bos that i'll take another week off!

    I most admit that Fallout 3 took a lot of my time, a lot.
    but the two games that taken most out of my life most have been FFXII and MGO, I actually had to trade in MGS4 when I got Dragon Age to stop playing it, I miss MGO so much

    I don't know about you'll but for the past couple of years I've seen and played some of the best games of all time, each new release out doing the others. And it looks like 2010 will continue the trend.... I actually get mild bouts of depression whenever my girl or family plan an outdoor activity that will eat away from my one on one time with my true love one..... Mrs. XBox 360

    FO3 has awesome story telling and amount of quests. Not to mention Mods that contains quests and other cool stuff that keeps you playing whole day.

    Fallout 3 and Far Cry 2 both sucked 50+ hours outta my life, been a while since single player games have claimed that feat. And I don't even wanna talk about how much time Steam says I've played Left 4 Dead, that number just can't be right, but I've got 25+ hours in on Left 4 Dead 2, and that's between Warhammer Online marathons...I really need to get out more.

    its a shame Assassins Creed 2 isnt on that list. it has everything i loved in the first one while making everything else a whole lot better. best open world game since prototype

    Sad to say i havent played any of these games and i have heard so many stories about WoW that i will positivly STAY AWAY! I used to get so involved (as a kid) in the MMORPG "Roblox" i must stay away from these oh so tempting games!
