    Smash brothers brawl does also for fighting
    Left 4 dead totally does
    i still think fifa 09 deserves the sports

    Smash bros shouldn't even be considered a "fighting game". SSF2THDR is million times, or two million times, better than that.

    I gotta say gamestops choices this for 2008 were really bad. The other games they enlisted were better than the ones they chose. They chose Braid over Mirrors Edge or Little Big Planet!

    dont get on Braid to but comon, how many games you know like MGS4? .......of course it deserve all the prices becouse it was a game develope over and over again in the same base achiving somthing close to perfection, hope that teams like the ones from dead space, and assasins creed , and some other good ones, get some similar philosophy so the overall game standard open the door to improve instead of get stuked in repetitive unoriginal works who just try to be a good money making chance.

    good games always have that extra lucid hand who knows what to do in my opinion. like all good work needs a master craftman who guides eaither this is film music or make a dam violin !!

    Audiosurf was the best!!! Rock band 2 just had more songs... audiosurf's concept could not have been improved more. You could choose any song!! It was made by a random student, not a big company!! That is awesome in itself!

    i'm surprised Resistance 2 didn't win, it's a really good game (i'm not saying Left 4 Dead is rubbish, because that's a good game as well). As for best racer i'm sure MotorStorm: Pacific Rift or Race Driver: GRID would've won if Burnout wasn't there. And how the hell did 'Braid' beat 'Little Big Planet' that's got to be a fix
