On 3/31/2009, Microsoft released a second pricey ($10) add-on for Gears of War 2: the Snowblind Map Pack. It includes three brand-new maps: Grind Yard, Under Hill, and Courtyard. The fourth map is Fuel Depot, a reworked map from the original Gears of War.

    Xbox 360 is still number 2 in sales, so until ps3 overcomes it, Xbox 360 is better. Thats a fact.

    i dont like gears of war 2 as much as 1 i dont know why but its just not as gd and i hate the voice acting on the second one. Sucks that there isnt guna be a third

    I just finished playing this game and its awesome. I've played Killzone and its great but i like GOW2 more. If you have both consoles get both games. Reccomend it to anybody

    PS3 is better than XBOX 360,PS3 have a better GPU and there are games to prove it like KILLZONE 2 & MGS4 and a blu-ray disc drive and it can browse web and it have thousands of great exclusives,motion sensor controls,more large games (50 GB blu-ray disc),and full HD,and free online gaming,that is why PS3 will always be the better consle.

    this game is awsome,it should take 10,i feel more excited about seeing this than the time i finished MGS4 because it wasn't funny and it was full of drama but uncharted had a very good sense of humor thanks to the great voice acting,but this could be a reason for me to buy 360.

    OMG! I just completed the campaign... This game is so epic, so cool... It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me recoil (the big worm bit).... This one's going down as one of the coolest and greatest games for XBOX360.

    that game is good but single player seems to get a bit boring after a while. But there's the multiplayer.

    I don't mean to stir the pot here but graphics dont make games better than one another my favorite game is final doom and you know its basically a few pixles loosley forming creatures, I'm talking quality not being pretty.

    The ps3 has better graphical capabilities. However, no one used these capabilites until late last year. I don't care about what it COULD do, I care about what it is doing. The only games that I feel that have looked AMAZING compared to 360 were Killzone 2, and MGS4. Some games in the past had both 360 and ps3 versions and the ps3 version looked worse (Fallout 3, Orange Box). So I'm still waiting for more AMAZING looking games on the ps3.

    Heres a solution, get both systems to truly see the better, dont say its too much I bought mine with a paper route, but honestly I think Ps3 is superior, with higher quality exsclusives that dont focus on only mp, which reults in really poor campaigns.

    To any one who cares, the ps3 has better graphics capability, Its graphics hardware reads at 550 mhz, while the 360 reads at 450mhz

    BTW, people who own ps3s seem to all say that ps3 is better, with graphics, systemwise, etc. and xbox 360 owners seem to think that it has better graphics than ps3, etc. PS3 AND XBOX 360 ARE GOOD IN THEIR OWN WAYS. whichever console has better graphics, it's not by far, and just because a game is launched, where its graphics on 1 console are better than the other, doesnt mean the console is better w/ graphics.

    GOW1 was good, not because of exactly gameplay ,but its sound effects, music, visuals, all fit together perfectly. The graphics had a hint of darkness, the maps were mostly just ruins and destruction, gave GOW that dark, desperate feeling, which what the storyline had as well. GOW2 has almost none of that, and darkening the graphics in options doesn't cut it. Still a great campaign, but not as good as good as gow1.

    Well this game is okay! Have better story line than killzone 2.

    Multiplayer needs another patch the Become Host glitch is useing way to much. Also i am starting to Consider Chainsawing can you believe that!?

    It looks quite impressive as a game, but I don't think I will play it, because I didn't like the first game. Not that it was bad, but it's not my style. Too much fighting all the time, and grey environments. Not to mention the dislikable characters. In fact they were as ugly, as the monsters they were fighting with.
    #2 follows the same patern. I liked very much though the review: Analytic, informative and objective.That's how all reviews must be made.

    yeah i think ps3 and xbox 36- are equal 2 i mean ps3 has better graphics but not by much it also has blu-ray, free wifi and free online play but on the other hand xbox 360 has halo, gow and left 4 dead but ps3 has mgs4 littlebigplanet and resistance so i guess it just depends on what kind of games you like
