    If you are coming to this board because you saw Fracture for a cheap price but you were'nt sure if it was any good, all I can say is get it. Just because this reviewer lacks true skill doesn't mean that the game is hard. When this reviewer said that all of the weapons we've seen before in shooters, he flat out lied. He forgot to mention the freeze gun, the Rhino (it fires terrain at enemies), the mole mine launcher (it shooters mines into the ground that follow and blow up near enemies), etc. Also when the reviewer said that altaring terrain was hardly used, well, that was a lie too. There are limitless possibilities terrain deformation offers when playing online. Unfortunatley, the online play is nearly dead. Don't let that happen!     c'mon people, seriously? uuuggghhh!! GAMESPOT REVIEWERS ARE LIERS!!! you people should try the whole game its cheap now its only 20 bucks in gamestop. by the way its not a bad game its just that no people play it online it could have been good if more people play it its kind of halo online but in third person and much better graphics. i would give this game an 8 out of 10.people please try this game if u have it add me to ur ps3 if u have a ps3 though.     Go to 01:39 and watch through 01:46. Honestly. Whoever played this game for this review has no skill. And they wonder why this game is hard. If you played Halo 3's campaign on Legendary and just ran out into the middle of a battle, all while doing nothing but crouching, I think you'd find it hard too. Just saying..... WOW

    You spelled Brody wrong there..... And I'm not a "fan" - I'm just saying, just because it was an average shooter doesn't make it suck. It's definetly worth 20 bucks.

    I think the rating here was just. It was an average shooter and every game is going to have it's fans, even awful ones. But I think GameSpot, as usual was in the general ball park with their rating.

    The gameplay controls look much like those of Lost Planet, so I guess it's safe to say that movement would look a bit ouf-of-proportion. And, the idea of dissolving the terrain **with a rifle** seems over-simplified. Aside from the bad side, this game has cool graphics and an interesting storyline. I liked the soldier's uniform, though the helmet is pretty much like the one in Haze. Er..... a solid 5.5??

    It's a great rent, but if you still want it, buy it for a cheap price and buy it for the multiplayer NOT the single player.

    That was the best video review I've seen so far .
    I just played the demo of this and I wasn't convinced then, and I think I'm gonna have to give this a miss now. Might be worth a rent though.

    I never was interested in this game and never thought it looked anything special, even with the whole Terraform mechanic. It's kind of pleasing when a game you don't plan on getting, turns out crap so nobody else cares for it and thus you don't get left behind or left out of the know because no one else knows either. . If only that had happened with "Dead Space" and "Fallout 3". It didn't and now I'm going to have to get those. Ugh.
    Fortunately it didn't happen with "Fable 2" like I thought it would and I did get that and it's great. I'm sure I'll be glad the previous games I listed didn't turn out to be crap once I finally have those and am enjoying them as well, but the prospect of spending money on them at this point in time is daunting.

    lol @ "you play as JET BRODY!!!". seriously Mason Briggs was a better, if still cheesy, name for the MC. The original premise for fracture had me excited. But it looks like Day 1 went in and "duded up" the whole thing with unnecessary design changes and plenty of machismo to boot. Honestly, every enemy looked the same. only their size/color seemed to change. Overall this was very disappointing and lucasarts should have scrapped it the minute they heard the name Jet Brody
