Wow, I'm actually very impressed with Mr. Molyneux's outlook on the future of the gaming industry and he may just have persuaded me to give Fable 2 a go.

I should never, EVER, have traded Fable 2 in - it was one of most ridiculous decisions that I ever made... Whenever I get the chance, I am re-buying this and I'm getting every single DLC patch that is released. Even though this game carries a few flaws, what it achieves is ground-breaking.

That man is the Boss!!! Fable 2 became my favourite adventure/rpg ever and is under the funnest game i have played so far. I loved everything about it and I am eagerly awaiting the soon arriving next dlc...Peter take your time and deliver quality products rather than releasing the same crap every year like other publishers....

Peter Molynuex is simply great and his outlook on the gaming industry is too. I don't really care about those little promises that he didn't keep. If you take that mindset off and have an open mind about it, Fable 2 is a very good game. I can't wait for the next DLC. I wonder what would happen if Lionhead and id Software did something together...hm..

If all game development companies had a boss like Peter, I think the industry would be a better place. It's great to actually see the enthusiasm in his body language about his ideas and aspirations for the future of gaming. Over the years the industry has shown us that there is a great difference between companies who simply release a product, and those that present us with works of art. It's simply astounding to see what has been achieved in such a short time, and I look forward to seeing what Lionhead and other great companies have instore for us in the future.

I agree; although Peter doesn't always deliver on ALL of his promises, no one is more enthusiastic or ambitious when it comes to making new games. I will always respect him for pushing the envelope on each and every game that he makes, instead of just turning a series into a stagnant release-a-year cash-cow; if that means some of his promises are left unfulfilled, that's fine by me. No one tries harder than Molyneux to make a good game.

I like Peter, when he talks about his games I feel like he really wants it to be a success and for us as gamers to enjoy it. I would rather he be ambitious with ideas then release the same game with minor improvements year on year.

Now only if the game had a challenge, good story, and fewer male villagers in love with my male character. "For the last time, I just don't feel the same way! Leave me alone!"

I agree with Djinnator, Moly, I hate him because he doesn't keep promises, but I respect him cause he pushes the envelope, he doesn't go stagnant with his Franchises, he pushes the limit even tho it isn't the easiest to do. And you can tell it kills him that he doesn't get to put some of his stuff in the games.

A lot of people talk BS about him because he is too ambitious and doesn't deliver his promises. But I like his positive outlook, he pushes creativity and always wants to try new things. He may not always deliver, but he damn sure tries.
