    It's funny how everyone was using this to max out their winnings, and now Lionhead has announced that anyone who cheated will face consequences in the game... Ahhh, the irony!

    I had to laugh at this comment. It doesn't affect him in the least yet he's pissed about it. As long as it's not an MMO or a competetive game I say let them play how they want to play. I know that's a hard concept for some people, but jeez.

    there are so many people here that complain. how many games do you know of that come out with an early way to make money? come on guys. quit your complaining and thank the guys for giving you some pre time to get some gold so when you get the game, you arent broke living in your parents house,,,, like 90% of us are

    I understand the complaints but if you dont like then dont do it, as for the reset the gold thing they may patch it but they will not reset the gold it is to hard to prove how much was earned through the cheat. As for the "hard core" gamers stop complaining if someone is cheating dont co-op shut up. sorry i have been hearing people complaining since contra about cheats.

    To confirm...Microsoft/Lionhead are aware of this exploit and are going to patch this cheat. Its also confirmed that they will also be resetting the gold of anyone that has used this exploit. So all of you who now have millions of gold because of this exploit will lose it all Confirmed from developers of the game

    They havn't patched it yet because it is an offline game, not online. If there is a patch for an offline game it is optional and not required, not to mention it is highly unlikely they will bother to fix it. It is your choice and does not affect anyone else. If it doesn't harm others there is no reason to fix the problem. You don't like the idea of cheating..Don't cheat and stop complaining.

    I admit I used this exploit to get me out of a +100k debt I had. Wasn't to keen on starting playing Fabe 2 with such a large debt.

    jay051684, I dont think so. Its not a trick that would work in a world, even a fantasy world. The dealer has to give back the winnings based on the minimum bet so if he gives too much then its his fault. Its just a stupid mistake but seeing how expensive owning everything is going to be then it could be really useful. If it was done intentionally then it was to give players enough money to buy property.

    Has anyone thought that maybe this exploit was done intentional by the developers? Maybe by using this exploit, you get caught in the actual game, losing all your money, or maybe worse?

    And then to the people who think its not fair. you got to atlantic city before? vegas? yeah winning isn't the easiest especially when theres a computer in control. Easier way to win money, hell i'll take it

    Why havent they patched this mistake yet? But I dont consider it cheating because theres not codes or hax.... just a flaw in programming...

    Besides houses and such, aren't good items drops? Like from quests and enemies? I mean yeh, you can stock up o heals, but he really good armor you are still going to have to work for.

    I think having all that money to start out in Fable 2 can ruin the game, because you won't have to work for anything you can just go and get it right away.

    This exploit is going to ruin the game for alot of hardcore gamers who will spend hours upon hours of playing Fable II to buy everything they can and then they go and visit someone in co-op only to find out they cheated to buy everything building and land in the game. Thats really going to hurt someone like me.
