    People say this is another RE5, there crazy this game came out before RE5. This game is unique and awesome.

    @ Ze1nOnly This is truly a great game, but it is not scary at all while playing with your friends or during the day. You should get it.

    It sold enough to get a platinum hits edition.

    Also, thank OXM for screwing sales a bit. Their review was a friggin joke from an intern who had no business going anywhere near a game of this calibur.

    nateknowsbest. I won't argue that the sound in this game is amazing but I thought the 1st condemned AMAZING for their sound affects. .

    And is it just me or did not enough people buy this game? This game could have gotten game of the year and sold a sh!tload. Instead I don't think it sold many at all.. wtf!?!?!

    I just bought this game. Um, I played it for 30 minutes before I had to turn it off I was so scared. It is amazing! If you havn't played it, I totally suggest you do. Yes, without a doubt, the scariest thing I have ever seen (whether horror game or movie), and nothing compares. You will pee your pants.

    I don't think any other game has used sound as effectively as this one. It's truly a unique experience and while a little repetitive, the overall joy of decimating your enemies never gets old.

    we playd for about 20 mintues and each 2 minutes...sumthing pop out of sh*t and trys 2 kill u!!!!!!! it made me shart in my pants!!!! a must-have

    I might add, that on a 5.1 sound system, this audio experience is unlike anything one could experience before.

    Dead Space is the game that Doom 3 should have been. This is simply one of these games that remain in your mind and after a while you might get the urge to re-insert it into your cd drive.
    The immersiveness and production values were unparalleled in 2008 and I completely agree that it was the best title to hit the shelves in this year.
    Actually, can't wait for Dead Space 2.

    This was by far the best game of 2008! I played through twice and still love it. The sound design, the shadows and lighting, the movement and controls were all very well done. So far, I haven't been able to find a game that sucks you in and scares you like this one did. I can't wait for the follow up coming out next year. Good job, EA.

    it was the best game that ea had to offer in 08 and was the best game scary and fun but takes forever to beat cause there is something new almost every time

    I downloaded the demo, but quit before I even saw any enemies. Maybe I'm a coward, or maybe this game is just SCARY!

    Fantastic game!! Loved how it combined sci fi horror like Event Horizon and The Thing.
    A must have!

    just like my experience with RE4, the sequences with the regenerating alien scared the $hit out of me the most. both are great games and id hate to compare, but hats off to RE4 for starting that third person over the shoulder pov which is an excellent way to experience an atmospheric game. awesome games like gears of war and dead space can attest to that.

    CQB looks real and great, but it does barely any damage. Great game, got all the achievments for it.

    I actually liked the close quarters fighting. The guys only an engineer and it made the game more realistic. It also forced you to turn each corner carefully

    for someone that never played this game before you cant tell how good it is...until yo do play it.
    it's the most perfect game in any way: story, graphics, combat, sound effects, physics. I'm a hardcore gamer, and i tried to find bugs, or glitches or anything to pick on, but there are not mistakes in this game, i could not find a single error or something badly designed...JUST PERFECT 10!
