    meh they need to stop trying to be innovative. its just like the sonic games. people love the 2d. why mess it up by going 3d??

    I can't wait for this! The story is intriguing enough. the visuals and cinematics look astounding! And with Kojima on the project you know the entire end product is going to be well polished.

    I'm VERY skeptical to it being a 3-D game... why couldn't they just keep the 2-D formula, and add 3-D models like what Street Fighter IV did?

    I hate to say this, but I am a little skeptical about this game, simply due to the fact that it was originally an entirely different title that had nothing to do with castlevania. Super Mario Brothers 2 and Silent Hill 4: The Room were the same, and they didn't turn out too well. I hope that I'm wrong. On the other hand, they are intentionally making it different, so maybe it will turn out more like Resident Evil 4 than Silent Hill 4. Fingers crossed and toes crossed.

    the psp one is not fun. But i dont know if you knew it, there's a unlock bonus game in the psp one, which is Symphony of the Night, best Castlevania game ever made. So if you are disappointed about how that game wasted your money, unlock symphony of the night and play it as a consolation

    i didn't really like the psp castlevania or the ps2 one but if Kojima is working on the game then i know it's gonna be a major hit

    watch the extended trailer on youtube, i believe Gabriel is a belmont and dracula will be in the game too. O and the second mask will creep you out!!!

    No matter how many times I watch this trailer, I can't help but smile when they reveal the title. Damn, this is on par with the reveal of Twilight Princess!! This game will be amazing. Pure and simple.

    No, I'm quite glad that Igarashi has no significant hand in this. His 2D games are fine, if not overly regurgitated........but he has delivered nothing but suck with his 3D Castlevanias. I'm quite excited to play this.

    I never have high hope for 3D castlevania. But this one blew me up! I wonder will the game become straight forward adventure like GOW, or feature the puzzle things on 2D castlevania (new power, a bit back-tracking, new path).

    Is Koji Igarashi not the producer anymore? Not that the new producers aren"t bad and that fact that I creamed my pants when I heard that Kojima Productions was involved but IGA was a great producer and game creator.

    Really nice, GOD of War type of gameplay, with a twist ... and a open world if a got it right. What more can you ask ?

    That combat looked unique and the enemies well were also unique , I mean werewolfs climbing on your back while you are running on a horse , many bats gathering to make a huge black bat , giant golems vs a human . I didn't think that the birth of Castlevania as 3D for next-gen would be this good

    To be honest I really enjoyed Castlevania 64, so I don't care if it is a linear king of game, though I prefer it not to be linear.

    This game looks absolutely incredible. The only thing is I hope they don't make it linear, Castlevania is all about the exploring.

    can this castlevania propel itself higher than the previous series? If Kojima is in this one I believe it may even be comparably to that of Gof of War series judging from its gameplay and interactive button mash boss fight mode. Hmmm Let's see how it turns out, but it looks very promising so far, and that acting metal gear style makes castlevania much much more alive.

    Thank God for Kojima Productions; Konami should have a mega hit with this version of the Castlevania series. I've been playing Castlevania games since NES's Castlevania and is always excited with a new installment of a new game, for a next gen system.

    reading more about this game...it has very little to do with actual Castlevania. Dracula isn't even in this game. So I have read thus far.

    So surprising... the applause... wow.

    I got chills, along with everybody in that audience that day I'm sure. A moment to be remembered, like the reveal of Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess.
