BC: Rermed - How do I beat the Boss on Area 3 ?

I'm trying to beat the boss on Area 3. I pull him down by hooking to him but what do I do after that. He begins to throw a gang of droids out which make it difficult to make a move. I'm playing on Hard Mode for I want to get the Hacking Achievement.

For anyone else having problem here, you latch on to the mid section of the actual boss/platform... it pulls him down and he short circuits (there's a power grid problem in the power pod room!), exposing the operator so you can shoot him.
