How do I beat the boss of Area 04? <HARD MODE>

Now, obviously you shoot him a bunch of times or you chuck a little 'nade off on him, but all of his minions are shooting through the floor, and you can only block so many before you realize you're just going to end up blocking all day.

Oh wow. One grenade on him and he flops dead. All those hours and I thought I already did this. Wow I'm dumb.
