    why doesnt gamespot get the podcasts of APB my youtube and the downloading from the website take ages.

    Of course they're going to charge a monthly fee! People ask this every time a new MMO comes out, and the answer is always the same!
    If you don't like it, then don't buy it. Simple.

    im extremely hopefull for the succes of pretty much all the console mmos...

    looks ok, i will probally be a cop, i meant to comment on this for a while now... but never got around to it, i am tired of playing as the bad guy, i will be the good guy if i play this game

    yeah if they charge every month i ain't gonna want to get this. especially since they already charge for XBL. i would rather just watch some game play vids if they do

    idk they could have a cease fire thing so it won't be too chaotic or some type of system where you can't kill (arrest if that's an option)a gang banger unless he did a crime or threaten the cop or you can't do major felonies like steal a bank unless ordered by the gang leader but can do petty crimes at any time such as stealing a car with less a chance of getting caught. but the game looks great so far i look forward to see some more

    I remember how crackdown was, and even though I couldn't really get into it, anytime i played with someone else, it was incredibly enjoyable, and THIS looks absolutely amazing compared to crackdown. it looks amazing, and kinda made me want this over crimecraft and many other games out there.

    The only thing that worries me is there servers and lag issues, the game itself looks pretty fun and solid.

    I'm afraid that a game like this will just devolve into such chaos that the city has no semblance to a real place. I think that with people jumping around shooting at eachother on every corner, it will seem too much like a game and therefore, not immersive enough. You'll have constant jarring reminders that this is a game. It is a cool concept though. We'll see how it pans out.

    @fenyung...the costumes from GTA's low ranking grunts? you do realise there are thousands of possibilities for outfits...you can customise the stictching, material and pattern type... also you can mod your car and customise your character intensively down to the extrusion of their veins..

    Great. As if the noobs don't die fast enough in normal shooters. This is what's gonna happen. You spawn. You die.
    Might be fun, though. But it's only gonna be fun cause it's a shooter.. and even that gameplay design that's been re-done so many times is getting old.

    Looks like it has potential to be good but lets see if the MMO market can combine with the GTA market without bombing horribly.
