    Really, the inventory is that bad? When RE5 does the same thing? And you guys loved that game! And RE5's controls were wonky too! You guys just had too high of expectations of this game. Alot of games controls and stuff are like this ones, and you loved them! And also, you say the driving is bad? IN A SURVIVAL HORROR GAME?! What do you expect, gran turismo? Shutup and stop trying to be funny. You fail. I gave this game a 8.7/10

    I just got this game for my xbox and it sucks not only the story but the gameplay is the worst ever !!!!
    I use to be a huge fan of this game but they just send the franchis to hell

    I thought Chris did a good job. Maybe not the funniest review ever but it gets the point across. The game is interesting, bust also rather flawed. It's to easy to take damage while checking your jacket inventory, also the cars handle terrible, and sometimes using the fire and light mechanic is incredibly frustrating. Speaking of frustrating, well actually it;s more annoying really, don't even get me started on the root burning sequences! arrrgghhh! Nice to hear the voice of Max Payne in a game agian though.

    dead space beats this game hands down.i appreciate the ideas of this game compared to some of dead spaces borrowed ideas but the horrible controls and other flaws weigh it down

    yeah played this for a few hours and its probably the most punishing game ever. never gives you tips on what to do. find out for urself move to the next room and spend another 10 minutes figuring out wtf do i do now. the game has a lot of bugs too and the gameplay just isnt fun. probably give it a 6 the game needs like some kinda system that tells u what to do

    ive found that every review i watch on this site is done by a monotone wannabe funny loser. not only that but most of the time they are overcritical and nitpicky. i get info on games from this site, but the reviews are unreliable. they always go at least a point lower than what i would give a game. thats my review of this review.

    The review was the worst I've ever seen. GameSpot has really gone down in quality, and the most important aspect, reviewing games. You only had to blink in the beginning of the game, but the reviewer makes it sound like you have to do it throughout the entire game. I agree with him on some other stuff, but that stuff is obvious. I think the game shouldve gotten like a 7.7. I'm glad i'm not a total access member anymore, or whatever that paid membership crap is called.

    Should have tested this game properly before releasing it, Eden Studios! The game is flawed so much and voice acting is dreadful.

    As for Gamespot that was one of the worst video reviews I've ever seen.

    Gosh, this review is lame. The reviewer's trying so hard to make it funny but it's not. What a shame. Maybe he wants to portray the lameness of this review to this lameness of this game. Who knows?

    The reviewer here is plain bad and the video editing is all over the place. Can the suits at Gamespot please restore dignified reviewers by learning from this mishap?

    I rented the game because the beginning is downright entertaining. Unfortunately, once you get to Central Park it becomes such a chore, especially with those 'Roots of Evil'. Ugh.

    Alone in the dark tries to do thing that most games these days stay away from for the sake of two thing:Every "I want more of the same tired formula" moron will keep playing the same Silent Hill 'til it hits number 1000 and tried and true things tend to SELL!Give AiTD a try, it is very innovative and original despite its flaws.And what's with the whole "retarted" stuff?You can hear the damn word from every low IQ 14 years old american these days...

    Not sure the reviewer really does his job here... if a game is bad, its his responsibility to say it, for the potential buyer's sake. This game is very bad, but this reviewer seems to want to emphasise the very few vaguely competent aspects over the very many godawful ones. Nevarro woudn't have been nearly so kind.
