Alien Hominid invading XBLA this week

Xbox 360 gamers are scheduled for a close encounter of the 2D shooter kind this Wednesday.

For those who've found the paper-delivering and root-beer-serving gameplay of recent Xbox Live Arcade games a little mundane, this week's downloadable Xbox 360 game will let gamers bite the heads off of FBI agents. Microsoft today confirmed that Alien Hominid HD will be this week's Xbox Live Arcade release, scheduled to go live on the service at 1 a.m. PST this Wednesday.

Originally conceived as a Flash-based PC game in 2002, Alien Hominid arrived on the US PlayStation 2 and GameCube in 2004, with European gamers also receiving Xbox, Game Boy Advance, and mobile phone editions. Now, as the game transitions to XBLA, it will offer high-definition visuals along with online multiplayer support for four people in the minigames. Offline, two gamers can play through the main game, while the minigames support up to four players at once.

Alien Hominid HD will be available for 800 Microsoft points ($10) and is rated T for Teen.

who gives a crap about your games played vs. your gamerscore? who gives a crap about gamerscores either way?

is not good to download demos on xbla because after you played it will mark it as games played and you will have like 60 games played and a 1000 p gamerscore.thats not good

Sagacious_Tien it does have live co op.. and yes Alien Hominid going to be the best game till Castlevania just hold your hourse people! ^_^;;

Oh what a wonderful game. I own it on PS2 and GameBoy. The strength of Xbox Live just gets better and better.

this is sweet~~~~~ this will be thegame i'll enjoy (aside from other main 360 titles) be4 the two "CASTLES" come out (castlevania and castle crashers)
