    you think about this
using light to make enemies vulnerable... sounds like alone in the dark [newest one]..... using fire ... lol
but i dunno it looks kinda alike too ...
but im hoping this one will work better

so "alone in the dark" meets "in the mouth of madness". seems like it could be very good.

"we have episodes and big cliffhangers" ha'ha! I smell Sequel already!

    But seriously though

I must say, that I AM a very big fan of being told an immersive story through a game (simply for the fact of your being that much closer to the plot than if you were watching a movie). So I am attracted to what this game sports claims to offer. I DO however, have my reservations for the flashlight defense / offense system. Sure, I get and appreciate the whole "driving back the dark presence" thing. I get the sense of that being a rather anticlimactic means of disposing of bad-guys / badthings I could be wrong! So I'll wait and see

odds are they require vista for DX10, but this seems more like a good game for consoles to me anyways.
as for my thoughts on the game, the only thing i can ask for is that the ending better not be you waking up from a dream, just to realize you fell asleep on the car ride to Bright falls or w/e

I guess playing on a big tv screen makes the game look more like a movie - which is cool. But I still wish that they didn't scrap the PC version...guess I'll just visit a friend with a 360

Does Microsoft really believe I'm going to upgrade my XP to Vista just because of this game? Don't make me laugh.

Great marketing scheme, Microsoft. Very smart of you to automatically loose a huge chunk of your customers.

Way to spoil loads of the plot in this trailer. Hmm, I'll reserve judgement on this game for now as it should have been out around the same time as Oblivion. Seriously, if Bethesda could put a game out that is that awesome, why the hell has this one taken so long. It better be frikkin the best game ever or it will get panned in the column pages.

@rickster34: "When is it coming out in Australia?"

Game recently put up the boxshots for both X360 and PC versions to preorder for 2010.
No actual release dates yet, although Game will probably update its site once it gets the information. It usually does, along with a release date count down.

    Nothing new since E3.

To all PC gaming haters: A good PC game is just as good as a good console game. It's not all about how the system drag the game down, it's about how a game draws out its potential.

I myself is disappointed the game isn't gonna released on PC.

I fear it take the same path as Alone in the Dark 4. Great ideas and all. And AitD4 felt only half finished.

No PC? Forget it then. The two guys being interviewed seem disenchanted with the whole project anyway. Remedy "LOVES" to makes great games, along comes MS to thoroughly ruin it, even the graphics look antiquated.

  • pilouuuu2004

    Posted Jul 30, 2009 4:48 pm PT

If this game is not released on PC, then I expect it to be a big failure. Stupid Microsoft, what were you thinking? After so many years expecting the game for it be Vista only, then delayed about four years and now no PC! Alan Fail.
