E3 2002: Pro Snowboarder 2 adds Olympians

Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder 2, Activision's upcoming snowboarding sequel, will feature Olympic men's half-pipe medallists Ross Powers and Jarret Thomas.

Activision has announced that it had added two Olympic snowboarders to its roster of athletes. Olympic men's half-pipe gold medallist Ross Powers and bronze medallist Jarret Thomas will be featured in Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder 2, Activision's upcoming snowboarding game sequel. The Olympians will appear alongside Shaun Palmer, six-time gold-medal winner at the Winter X-Games, as well as other top snowboarders including Tommy Czeschin, Ingemar Backman, Jimmy Halapoff, Kier Dillon, Leslee Olson, Shaun White, and Tara Dakides.

Shaun Palmer's Pro Snowboarder 2 is in development at Treyarch for the Sony PlayStation 2, the Microsoft Xbox, and the Nintendo GameCube and at Vicarious Visions for the Game Boy Advance. We'll post more information about the game as it becomes available.
