First look: NCAA College Basketball 2K3
Sega releases the first details on its next college basketball game.
Sega has revealed the first details on NCAA College Basketball 2K3, which is currently in development for the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. The game will have online multiplayer support in the PlayStation 2 and Xbox versions, and it will feature 300 Division I teams and their respective arenas. NCAA Basketball 2K3 will also feature a legacy mode in which players can create a school from scratch and build its basketball program with scouting and player development. There will also be a play editor, the option to play in classic or custom tournaments, and a role-playing mode in which players take control of one player on the court throughout the course of a game.
NCAA College Basketball 2K3 is scheduled for release early in 2003 on all platforms.
