EA makes games all hype not thrills 2K makes games all thrills with a little less hype... I think Microsoft should come back out with another NFL Fever and they would be better then what EA does for Madden... The Madden 10 demo I played on the 360 was graphically amazing, but til this day it doesnt come close to what 2K pulled off in 2005... 2005 every last great sports game came out excluding the NBA and NHL games... NFL 2k5 was amazing, MVP baseball by EA was amazing (nothing has come close to being anything like it)... When EA loses the rights to the NFL which is in like 2011 or 2014 or sumthin like that if 2k makes a football game for 20 bucks EA can kiss Madden goodbye and take a billion dollar profit loss...

Here it is 2009, yet this game still has it. The Technology for that year had the right idea. It is a fun game to watch and play. Why can;t EA do the samefor the football aspect. If not better. We have advanced consoles and the games should look this decent. Complete with highlights/ post game shows, side line intteractions with coach, great announcing.. Fans look better . Refs seen throwing yellow flags, the chain gang out there when its a questionable call. You can challange a bad call. I mean this is what gives the meaning "if its in the game, its in the game!" But its not from EA SPORTS And the price for this game was a flea market price of only $20. Today if you can find it ,is only 99 cents. Unbelievable. This is truly how other football games will be judged by..

i wish espn 2k was still around, if it was around to evolve the way madden has espn 2k would be the hands down greatest football sim series ever. 2k5 is still better than madden in some spots( scouting, prepping for games, the overall presentation )

Agreed, I'm looking at the game and just remembering how much it feels like real football, the tension and control, I would call the best football game to play for fun and feeling like you're playing with really accurate physical interactions, even if sometimes the movements can lack the momentum and speed that EA Sports Madden seems to move with, and 2K moves too suddenly and unrealistically. Still though, must be said, fun football game, has to be played to understand how much sense the game makes, even though Madden is a lot of fun, though these days it kind of seems like they're more loose and less immediately game-like like the PS2 Maddens, which are gooood

Best FOOTBALL PERIOD released in 2004, madden hasn't even touched this 4 years later...Pathetic EA Sports
