Dead Center for the Xbox?

GameSpot has learned that Electronic Arts is currently developing a new game for the Microsoft Xbox tentatively titled Dead Center. Specific information regarding the project has not been revealed at this time, but industry sources would have us believe that the game is in the action/driving genre. When contacted for comment, an Electronic Arts official said that there is no information available at this time.

Electronic Arts is supporting the Xbox with a variety of titles, many of them scheduled for the North American launch of the console on November 8. EA games such as Madden NFL 2002, SSX Tricky, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Cel Damage, Battlefield: 1942, and games under the Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings licenses will be released on the Xbox.
