Xbox GTA Double Pack dated for Europe

Rockstar Games has today confirmed that the Xbox version of its Grand Theft Auto Double Pack won't be available in Europe until January 2, 2004. The date will probably come as no great surprise to European Xbox gamers who have been following the game's progress, since it's widely believed that Rockstar's exclusivity deal with SCEE is preventing a 2003 release. Until today, however, a number of European retailers had been advertising a December 19 release date for the game and accepting Christmas preorders accordingly.
