Vultures announced for the Xbox
Assume the role of a gladiator in this arena-based action game for the Xbox.
CDV Software Entertainment has announced an agreement with Swedish developer Grin Inc. to bring the weapons-based action game Vultures to the Microsoft Xbox. In the game, players assume the role of a gladiator, who must wage battles in various arenas to become the undefeated champion of the warrior class known as the Vultures. At their disposal, the gladiators will have classic, modern, and futuristic weapons.
"Not only has Vultures all the features to become a high-quality title for the console, but it also promises a revival of the genre," said Johannes Friederich, licensing director of CVD. "Huge arenas, a unique style, and realistic fight scenes make this title exceptional in its genre. From the graphics to the control, from the gameplay to the music...everything in this early stage of development convinced me that this title will prove to be a success."
No release date for the game has been announced at this time. Concept renders for the game are shown above.
