Steel Battalion: Line of Contact ships

Capcom ships its online mech combat game.

Capcom has announced that Steel Battalion: Line of Contact has been released for the Xbox. Line of Contact is a multiplayer follow-up to the single-player mech combat simulator Steel Battalion, which was originally released in 2002 with a specialized 40-button multijoystick controller. Line of Contact is only playable online over Xbox Live, and it requires the special controller for play.
