First look: A Sound of Thunder Xbox and PS2

Bam Entertainment has released new details on and screenshots from A Sound of Thunder, which is currently in development for the Xbox, GameCube, and PlayStation 2. Inspired by Ray Bradbury's time-traveling story of the same name, A Sound of Thunder puts players in the role of Travis Ryer, who must go back in time to keep a group known as Global Entropy from destroying the present timeline. The game will feature nine missions, all of which have puzzles that have some sort of effect on the timeline. In addition, players can use 11 different weapons, ranging from baseball bats to disruptors that freeze enemies in time.

A Sound of Thunder is scheduled for release in Q2 2003.

    the movie was terrible - I mean B-A-D. The game would've been worse.

    Man, I love the short story. I wish they would've gone through with the game.
