SNK NeoGeo USA today announced that it has joined Microsoft's Xbox third-party program and plans to release Xbox versions of both Metal Slug 3 and SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom in North America this year. The company plans to develop Xbox games based on its other franchises in the future and hopes to incorporate Xbox Live functionality, which has been confirmed for SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom, into many of them.
"We're fortunate in that we have several titles with devoted fan bases," said Ben Herman, SNK NeoGeo USA Consumer Corporation president. "Xbox users are serious about their gaming experience, and our titles fit the Xbox user perfectly."
