First look: Pac-Man World 2 Xbox

Pac-Man's latest adventure is making the transition from the PlayStation 2 and the GameCube to the Xbox.

Namco has announced that Pac-Man World 2 is currently in development for the Xbox. In this platformer, which has already been released for the PlayStation 2 and the GameCube, Pac-Man sets out to recover the magical fruit that was stolen by the ghost gang. Over the course of the game, players will have to use some of Pac-Man's new skills, including the ability to ice-skate, flip, and shimmy, among others. Pac-Man World 2 will also include 3D mazes and a number of other classic features.

Pac-Man World 2 for the Xbox is scheduled for release in October, and it will be in Namco's booth at E3.
