Dinosaur Hunting dated
Metro3D plans to release Dinosaur Hunting in North America in March. New details and screens inside.
Metro3D has today announced that it will release Dinosaur Hunting for the Xbox on March 24. It was originally scheduled for release in November last year. Currently in development at Scarab, the game will challenge players to hunt and capture dinosaurs that have been discovered in the Amazon.
Set in the year 1910, the game is inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle's novel The Lost World but will feature a number of weapons and technologies that wouldn't have existed at that time. Armed with sniper rifles, tranquilizers, communicator headsets, shotguns, flash grenades, and the like, players will encounter more than 50 different types of dinosaurs--each with its own weak spot and each susceptible to a different tranquilizer formula.
You will be able to play Dinosaur Hunting using either a first- or third-person view, and it will feature both story and open hunt modes of play. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
