Crimson Skies goes gold

Microsoft Game Studios announces that its 1930s-inspired aerial combat game has gone gold and will ship to stores later this month.

Microsoft Game Studios has today announced that Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge has gone gold. The 1930s-inspired aerial combat game will feature Xbox Live support for up to 16 players, and will also offer downloadable content including additional maps and planes after its release.

Crimson Skies' single-player adventure will see players assuming the role of an entrepreneurial air pirate named Nathan Zachary. The game will be story-driven, but is non-linear and will allow players to explore expansive areas in search of non-player characters with missions on offer.

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge is currently scheduled for release in North America on October 21 and in Europe on October 31. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
