I was a big EVE ONLINE fan for a few years and always wished a similar single player were available. No idea how all these years I missed the fact that there was the X series by Egosoft going on. I stumbled on this and Evochron while desperately trying to find a game similar to Eve. Played Evochron demo and watched YOUTUBE vids and went with X3 war pack that includes Terran Conflict and the latest expansion "Albion". As a first time player I was stoked. This has everything I want. Not a button masher and requires thinking. A lot of thinking as you have to learn the keyboard commands. So much to do that I have yet to know all the commands. Learn 'em as ya need 'em. Lots of info on forums and tutorial vids on Youtube. Free roam and do what you want. The universe is humongous. Watch out for pirates. There are various mission types as well that you get from npc's. The graphics are so nice. So much to say and I have to launch game now so I will only say, buy the game and start learning with this series of Youtube tutorial vids: X3TC Walk through Part 1. If you like exploring, building stations, factories and other structures, trading, mining, missioning, stock exchange, creating huge fleets, carjacking ships, etc, You must try it out.
