Decent X-Game, But Not a Great One

This game had such great potential. It's a comic book and gamers dream to play out Wolverine's life. He has a super cool weapon in those crazy adimantium claws, his health regenerates and he's just plain surly. And yet, the only thing that carried over, really, was the surliness.

The game has a predictable plot, Wolverine trying to hunt down who had done him wrong, and of course he gets to that in the end, but ultimately, the game falls very short of being good, or even enjoyable. I found the controls counter intuitive at times and it was sometimes a force to do sections of the game over and over again. I didn't quite understand why he would ever need health ups; he should be able to heal himself.

I'd say that a Wolverine/X-men fan would have to pick this game up, but otherwise I think most gamers would be just as glad to miss this lacklustre game.
