Oh My God! Did Activision make this!

Despite being a huge fan of the X-Men films, comics, games- especially X-Men Legends 1 & 2- and all three of the shows, but this is a god awful mess. But, it is a movie game. No matter how good other X-Men games are and no matter how amazingly awesome all three movies were, this just doesn't cut it. It doesn't even come close. I have played and love many Activision game in the past, including nearly every Marvel game produced by them, but this just sucks. First of all, this is suppose to be based on the second X-Men movie, but really, it's not. Now that game might have at least gotten a 6.0 from me, but in this game you only play as Wolverine. But, going on the fact that all three X-Men movies have been ambitiously centered on Wolverine way too much, I guess this fits. But as for working as a functional game, this just fails horribly. Combat. Sucks. Graphics are really bad and the game play is just horrendous. Al least this game features a few other famous X-Men and Villains. Like Magneto, Lady Deathstrike, Sabretooth, Juggernaut, and Professor X. But all of them are portrayed and voiced terribly. Except for Professor X of course, who is once again voiced by live action Chuck, Patrick Stewart, which may be the only good spot in the game. Even Wolverine's voice sucks. They could have gotten Hugh Jackman to voice him and it would have been good. No. They could have even gotten Steven Blum, who voiced Wolverine in all of the recent X-Men games. But once again, no. Instead they Mark Hamill, who is absolutely the worst person they could have gotten for Wolverine. He is a bad voice for Wolverine, plain and simple. This is one of the worst games I have ever played, but... it is a movie game. And I always have to remind myself that when I'm playing it, because it reminds me of all of the other great X-Men games. But this is not one of them.
