You can look, but don't touch. We spotlight the mysterious Rogue.

Their genus is homo, their species superior, but most folks simply refer to them as mutants. They are the next stage in human evolution and, though they often look just like everyday people, they are born with strange and wonderful powers that make them feared and hated by many.

X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse is the second Activision action/role-playing game starring that wily team of mutant heroes, the X-Men. In the second game in the series, the X-Men, led by the world's most powerful psychic, Professor Charles Xavier, forms an unlikely partnership with the Brotherhood, a group of evil mutants led by Xavier's nemesis, Magneto. The two teams' fragile partnership is based on a common enemy--the crazed Apocalypse, who is hell-bent on enslaving or destroying the world, whichever comes first.

Rogue

In our fifth character spotlight for X-Men Legends II, we take a look at that gorgeous and deadly Southern belle, Rogue.

Southern Comfort

Rogue puts her considerable skills to work.

Real name: Unrevealed
First Appearance: Ultimate X-Men #7

Bio: Rogue may be one of the most tragic characters in the entire X-Universe. She has a gentle nature that is complicated by her mutant power, which prevents her from coming into contact with anyone. Her powers have made her hunted by the mysterious Weapon X program, where she has fought both against, and with, the X-Men. Beyond that crystal clear Southern accent, not much else is known about Rogue's history.

Rogue's mutant ability to absorb the thoughts and abilities of anyone she touches may be a curse to her personal life, but it's a blessing when she's on your team. In combat she is a powerful warrior, able to adapt to almost any situation. Considering she can take out an enemy with a single touch, she makes a formidable foe indeed. In X-Men Legends II, Rogue will have an array of attacks that are a mix of both up-close-and-personal and acrobatic. She even has a hearts-based power that seems to temporarily grant her superhuman strength, allowing her to break through doors and quickly defeat enemies. To see this mysterious mutant ability in action or to see more of Rogue, be sure to check out her character spotlight on our media page.
