A disappointment to say the least...

I've read this on other reviews, but the fact of the matter is the game feels unfinished! Some of the graphics aren't bad while others feel like old ps2 graphics (...poor Mystique). Walking around felt so clunky that it annoyed me and the ridiculous climbing of beams...you might as well have drawn a stick man climbing. While the environments felt like they could have been the beginning of something but the level design simply made them feel like block areas and often confusing. The power up system had some promise to it but also left me flat. For example...the unlock code for Havok's abilities actually had me excited until I began to play. Since you can change any of these options at any time you really don't care which you choose. Being an X-man fan from a young age I was looking forward to playing with the new characters and being able to choose sides. Yet even that felt bland. There was nothing that made you feel compelled to either side. In fact it becomes a toss up choice where the good and evil just stand next to each other as if the best of friends and ramble off a few sentences and you click a choice. Even more annoying is if you choose a dialogue that you've read before you have to sit through the entire dialogue again. You can not skip it! Even the side items had no feel to them. The hidden icons are just little diamond shapes that sit in a bizarre fashion...the life and power are just small round blobs of nothing and the X-Genes for upgrades don't even feel worth searching for. They don't feel like they add anything to your build in power. Simply put I can't believe this product was released as is. All I can say is I hope I can get my money back!
