User Rating: 8.5 | WWF WrestleMania 2000 N64
WWF Wrestlemania 2000 is one of the best wrestling games for the N64, and there are many reasons why. The game features several arenas that WWF held events at in 1998 and 1999. There are also arenas based on each WWF television show, such as the Sunday Night Heat, Raw is War, and Wrestlemania stages. First, the roster. The roster is very extensive and well put together, with all the major stars, like Kane, The Rock, and Stone Cold, while having some others, such as Meat, Mideon, and Chaz. All of them have a role in the main story mode, which is very long. It is a very good story mode, even though losing a match doesn't really affect the storyline. Anyway, it is a pretty interesting story mode, although the Cage matches can get stressful sometimes. As far as the sound is concerned, the game really struggles. The music is ok, but the entrances are cheap renditions of the themes. As far as the intro videos, they aren't that good. They are cheap, moving pixels basically, but it doesn't affect the wrestling gameplay. The wrestling gameplay is very well done, and any old school wrestling fan HAS to buy this game. Despite some graphic and sound issues, this is one of the best wrestling games for the N64.
