WWF SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role Preview

WWF SmackDown! 2 was only shown in video form as the game isn't complete enough to have a playable build. Still, the video we saw had enough gameplay footage to give us a good idea of what the newest game in the WWF SmackDown! series is all about.

One of the best things about the original game was how fast the game played. Simply put, the game was non-stop action from start to finish. WWF SmackDown! 2 is even faster. The game literally flies, making playing it an experience much like watching an actual WWF match. The graphics look improved, and there's new plot elements to it. Also, the video showed off some new outdoor arenas, and some of them look awesome. But easily the most impressive new feature of WWF SmackDown! 2 is the ladder match. Now only can you climb the ladder and jump on your opponents, but you can toss them into it, close them in it, and even pick it up and hit them with it. The effect is just awesome.

I can't wait to get my hands on a playable version of SmackDown! 2, but it'll probably be awhile before I'm able to, as the game is still very, very early.
