No doubt the perfect review... heres all you want to know. To start things off, there are goods and bads to this game, so dont get all doubtfull whe i start with the bads. The revenge mode, which is like your basic story mode is completely terrible. It has almost nothing to do with wrestling, and its repititious and the game forces you to play it if you ever want to unlock anything in the shopzone. Its almost always in a 2 on 1, or a 3 on 1 situation which sometimes makes it near impossible to carry out climbing missions. Construction workers and security guards doing perfectly executed shoulder breakers and back drops just doesnt seem right... Now to the music. Im very undecided on what i did or didnt like and heres why. Theres a few tracks that a true wrestling fan will get goose bumps from. The goldberg track and intro is righ on the money, as is most of the intros, triple H and the new intro for the rock is all good. And they even threw ina surprise to myself, when i chose randy orton he came out to the evolution music, which was a totally unexpected thing, and cool at that. But heres where they went bad, RVD, Lita, Victoria, and a few others just had those cheap video game remakes. And whats an intro without the music. The fighting is very similar to the game which i believe to be probably the best WWE game yet, and thats no mercy for the 64. Its very acurate and gives you up to 8 special moves int he create a wrestler option. Now this is where we get good. The create a wrestler is probably the best one of any game yet. You can morph faces and body's similar to the latest smackdown! game and create your own intro, which includes camera angles, piro, lighting, music, and character moves. Another ting that was cool, which doesnt seem to amazing, is that you can create your own color, like if you get a mask or a shirt and you put a certain logo on it, you can match that color almost exact. Some of the animations for the wrestlers could have been alot more polished, but it will do for the time being, i mean come on, its gamecube... So if your looking for a wrestling game that will keep your attention for a long time, wait for the new smackdown in late october, but if you want a decent one to hold you off, give this one a rent for sure, maybe you'll see something in it i didnt, but its your call if you want to spend 50 bones on it.
