THQ's latest entry into the Smackdown! series gamers flock to the stores, but at the same time, scratching their heads.

User Rating: 8.9 | WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw PS2
First off, WWE Smackdown! vs. RAW is a very great game. The graphics are solid, and an upgraded character creation mode than last year's so-so version. The season mode rocks. It almost felt like I was watching WWE when I first played it. There are also new gameplay mechanics. Most notable in the Royal Rumble mode, making you really work to eliminate an opponent. You basically mash buttons down until you can't feel your thumbs. Painful, but so fun to do. There is also a "chop battle". While your opponent is in the cornor, hold down and circle to chop with your enemy back and forth, if you happen to miss. Now the not so great aspects of the game. First, the dissappearing weapons. And something that's not really realistic is when the wrestlers fall off let's say the Hell in a Cell cage, when they land, they spin around a few times and THEN finally, after a back-roll, land on the floor. It's not really a big deal, but it's just a little annoying, especially trying to have a realistic match.Alright, enough with the bad stuff. This game has over 50 WWE wrestlers, the announcing is back, and it IS the most realistic wrestling game on the PS2.
I know this review was a little long, but I'm just giving you some info.

Great game.
