SVR 09 is the latest SVR game to hit the shleves , will it DDT the competition or be well just another wrestling game?
Story- There are 6 storys (funny how there are onyl 5 slots to save though), there is a john cena story, a undertaker story, a Chris jericho/Y2J story , a tag team story with batista and rey mysterio, Triple H, and a CM Punk STory. They are all diffrent, john cena (or as i like to call him CRAP CENA) has to beat MVP,WILLIAM REAGEL AND UMAGA from createing a country called BETTER-THAN-UTOPIA. ...WTF?! undertaker story is just as cheesy as you have to stop the "boogeyman",Finlay and santino form steling his soul. Chris Jerichos story is where you have to find who is the masked man who cost you your championship. Batista and rey myserio is a basic "we have to prove our selves" storyline with batista having a small rivarly with edge. Triple H storyline will let the hardcore wrestling fans decide if they want DX ( a team of HBK and HHH) back together or evoulution ( a 3 man team of batista ,HHH and Randy Ortan) and the ending are cool for him. and CM PUnk has the ONLY ECW storyline covering him trying to be the bets but bringing back a WCW person-Taz and John Morrison and elaghi burkes (if thats how you spell it) , trying to stop him from becoming ECW champ quite frankly CM Punk is my 3rd favorite wrestler so i liked the story also after you beat you could play as Tazz! SO the story modes are cool Just Crap Cenas and Undertakers storylines are way to cheesy holding it back a bit(way better than 24/7 on 08).

Gameplay- It is smackdown action at its coolest. It does use the 07 engine like 08 did but makes the controls a bit tighter and teh action a bit more dynamic it uses most of the moves from 08 adds a nice inferno match where you can drag your opponet into the flames they lose , and get burned. everything else is there steel cage,normal,hell in a cell, money in the bank... ladder, ironman ,royal rumble yeah all that good stuff also teh character creator has alot of depth in it, and if you want you can make your character win all the titles (that would be sorta stupid though).It might repeat some stuff form 07/08 but it still is fun as ever.

Graphics/Design - the entrances of the charcters look nice, but in-game graphics are nothing to be saying "that looks good". It looks alright, and the cutscenes in story mode look nice so ill give a nice go.
C-Good-7.5.
Sound/Music- Well lets face it sounds are oer used entrace music is the same and well it soemtimes ear-peircing.
D-Mediocre-5.0.
Learning Curve- Itll take some time for newbies to learn but for people who have played 08 or 07 it should be a snitch.
Multiplayer- Its mroe fun with friends you can compete or team up to see who is the better player.
A-SUperb-9.5.
Overall-Smackdown VS Raw 2009 is a good game, any PS3, Xbox 360 owner should pick it up, i dotn know about WII.PS2, i heard it had worse graphics and no live and less content but its still worth checking out. PSP is pretty good actually, and for DS dont even touch it. I would suggest getting for all PS3/360 owners the most though.
