This is what happens when you mess with a good thing

I bought this game with high hopes, but even with all of the "perks" that were introduced by the "fighting style system," there were just holes that were created by that system and they just were not fixed (at least for the PS2 system). Needless to say, this unfortunate defect is severe enough in my eyes to keep me from purchasing any more WWE games. The new analog system works great, unless it glitches (sometimes it just can't tell up/down from left/right), and there is no classic setting to even things out. Also, there seems to be a lack of manual focus (which switches players' attention to a different wrestler), an EXTREMELY important feature that makes all the difference when you're playing a tag match in legend difficulty and the button to tag your partner is either hidden or non existent (there's no indication that the controls exist even in the manual). Because of these glitches and gripes, I feel that THQ has all but abandoned the PS2 platform and I feel that if you can't put a decent effort into a game then you need not put that game out. I wish I could Rate this game lower than I did. This is a game for semi-hardcore fans, because even the hardcore fans may be peeved at missing players. This is not a game for hard-core gamers.
