This wrestling game is garbage because of the absent A.I. and other horrors.

THE GOOD:

+Graphics. This is one of the best-looking PS2 games, thanks to the amazing superstar models. Yes, the crowd isn't that good, but everything else is just great.

+Gameplay. I like the new irish whip system, and the 2-button reversal system is still great. The stamina system has received mixed reactions, but i think it's a good way to make the game more realistic.

+Legends. Mankind, Bret Hart, The Rock, Steve Austin, 3 different Hulk Hogans (80's, Holywood, present) and... this is cool... Andre the Giant! Plus there's even more. And they all have their titantron videos and music.

+Season mode. There's no replay value, but the voiceovers are great. It's unfortunate that Ric Flair doesn't have voice in this game, but otherwise it's really interesting to hear your superstar's voice.

+Commentary. Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross (Raw) and Michael Cole & Tazz (SmackDown) provide good commentary. It's interesting to hear them talk about the superstars and argue with each other...

THE BAD:

-Commentary. It has its problems too. Here's an example: "Edge is such a jerk... What a reversal!"
or: When i look at Triple H, all i see is wasted... What a jerk! Talk about having no respect for your opponent!"
So it cuts the current line everytime somebody counters a move or taunts an opponent.

-Momentum. Yes, the momentum meter is more realistic that the Smackdown!- icon system, but come on: It's EXTREMELY annoying when you try to "layeth the smack down", then your just about to press the finisher button, your momentum meter drains and you can't do it. Then you have to re-fill it. AAGH!
-Dive finishers. Try doing a 5-star frog splash or Benoit's headbut. You can't. The opponent will get up before it hits. DID THEY EVEN BOTHER TO TEST THIS GAME???

-Tag matches. The non-tornado tag team matches are almost unplayable in this game. The illegal A.I. superstar (the one who shouldn't be in the ring) CONSTANTLY enters the ring and your partners doesn't do ANYTHING about it. And when you try to pin or submit, they just ALWAYS interrupt the count. If you decide to play it, A) Put "Ring out count" ON and just keep your opponent outside the ring so you win by count-out. or B) Put "KO" ON.

-The A.I. The Artifical intelligence of Smack vs Raw 2006 is pretty terrible. That's the truth. Here's a list of some of the problems:
1. It reverses way too many of your moves. And yes, i know you can change that in the advanced options, but still.
2. On Easy and Medium difficulties, the superstars just stand still without doing anything. It's like a robot running on low battery.
3. When their opponent is on the mat, they almost always drag them to the center of the ring before performing a move.
4. They often leave the ring without any reason and stay there way too long.
5. On ladder/TLC matches, they CONSTANTLY (and i MEAN IT) pick up the ladder and set in in the ring. You can't do anything in the matches because they just keep picking it up again and again and again.
