Wrestlecube returns with more of WWE's unique and insanley fun action all draged onto the Gamecube, wrapped up in a box.

User Rating: 7.5 | WWE Day of Reckoning 2 GC
If you love the WWE's unique brand of high action, bone crunching way of playing a fighting game and you own a Gamecube, then this game is probably a no-brainer. Given the upcoming release of The Revolution, Day of Reckoning 2 is most likely the last wrestling game the GameCube will ever see. So get it while it's available. On paper, Day of Reckogning 2 is superior to the original. It has a better story mode, new gameplay additions, and some pretty swanky character models. But despite these improvments, I had less fun with this game then the original. Although you shouldn't be oblivious to most of the new features (like the new submission hold mini-game), they really don't add all that much to the mix, and as a result Day of Reckogning 2 feels like the same game I played a couple of years ago. Although it's not an outright disaster like Xbox's Wrestlemania 21, but it's also not a real improvment. For everything DoR 2 sucseeds in, it does something else that brings it down. The Superstar character models look amazing, but the created characters, frankly, look like crap. It's nice now that you can have some say in the story mode, but the lack of any voiceover's in a game just saddens me in this day and age. There is a wide selection of match types , but some just don't work right. The mechanics used to climb a ladder or cage in all of your WWE title matches simply simply has to be included in future games. It's awful. Shouting-a-stream-of-foul-language-at-your-TV awful. If your a casual fan, you can probably shake this title off, but if your a die hard WWE fan like me, and you have a GameCube, pick it up.
