Now, I must say, I am writing this review after only paying 30$ for it. Paying full retail price may of been too much. That being said, WWE AllStars literally makes me smile while I play. I grew up loving the WWF and all of its games. One of my all time favorites was "In Your House" and " Royal Rumble" Both were arcade-style wrestlers and both were loads of fun. I still enjoy the occasional wrestling sim, but the the UFC game being so solid, I don't need another Sim. THQ made a bold descion with the format of the game, but I feel it paid off. Other WWF games the included legends have been awful (See: Legends of Wrestlemania" but the bold approach has me feeling like I'm 9 again. The matches are fast and fun. And believe it or not, on the higher difficulties, strategy is a must. Using your characters strengths is essential in pulling out the win. My only real complaint is the lack of deep game modes. There is plenty to keep you busy, and the trophies will force you to play all modes with all characters. With the drop in price, WWE AllStars is a great game at a great price. Just use your noggin and realize what this game is before you bash it for what it's not
