WWE 2k14 is NO Different than any other Wrestling game. I really wasn't expecting much from WWE 2k14 to tell you the Truth. Even though WWE Games has a NEW Publisher, We STILL Have The same Lazy CRAPPY Developer Team, which means WWE 2k14 is just more of The same crap! The Online Servers still SUCK, and is equally as Glitchy, and Laggy! NOTHING has changed! Online gameplay has gotten Progressively worse. I don't know if this is a glitch, or if it's intentional, but you can't even TELL when your Opponant has a Signature, or a Finisher, or anything. That adds on to the frustration of The Online Gameplay. The Submission system encourages Players (ESPECIALLY Online) to abuse them Frequently (Mainly Submission Finishers/ Signature Submissions). The Submission system was perfectly fine the way it was Originally back in the Early Smackdown Vs. Raw Series before they changed it in Smackdown vs. Raw 2008. The Graphics, and Animation styles STILL have YET to be Revolutionized. It's a Smackdown Vs. Raw 2009 Version 6.0!... Play Smackdown vs. Raw 2009, 2010,2011, WWE 12, WWE 13, and WWE 2K14, and you'll realize they are all relatively The same. The Graphics are relatively Similar, and The Gameplay, The Commentary, and Story Mode aren't that much Different (Except for The Attitude Era Themed WWE 13). To be really Honest, If I wanted to relive matches, and relive moments From The Attitude, and Rutheless Aggression Era, or View matches from The 80's, and Early 90's, all I have to do is watch The DVD's, or go to Youtube, or something. I DON'T Need to Relive them Through a Video game. That's Stupid! I would rather watch DVD's, and Youtube videos, and buy a PS2 off Amazon, and Play old Video games like WWF Smackdown 1, Smackdown 2, WWF Just Bring It, WWE Shut your Mouth, Here Comes The Pain, Smackdown Vs. Raw, and Smackdown Vs. Raw 2006 (All of Them Classics). I get The Feeling better out of Playing old WWE Games, than trying to do it in a Modern Day WWE Game. I would rather do that than to attempt to relive moments through a Modern-Day WWE Video game. The Idea and Concept is just Corny and Stupid! It's just Played out, and has been ever since The Failure Experiment that is known as "WWE Legends of Wrestlemania". What They should do Instead is just develop and release modern day (Properly developed) remakes of all there old Classic Wrestling games from The Past, or just release a Compilation of them, and Then we can just Re-create and Relive those classic matches, Fueds, and moments that we grew up on ourselves. That would make much more sense. The Graphic system is as Lazy as usual. The Wrestling doesn't live up to all the elements surrounding it. And having 5 Triple H's, and like 4 or 5 Undertakers, 3 Big Shows, 4 Rocks, and 4 HBK's does not make The game anymore Interesting. WWE 2k14 has Probably the Best Roster I've ever seen since Smackdown Shut Your Mouth. They even put Goldberg, and Ruthless Aggression Brock Lesnar in there. 2 of my Favorite Superstars of The Ruthless Aggression Era,( and Favorite to Pick in Here Comes The Pain), but sadly not Even THEY could save The Game. Playing as Goldberg brought back memories of my Childhood days Playing Here Comes The Pain. It's too bad The Wrestling is Lazy, and Crappy, and The Spear didn't look HALF as Dope as it did in Here Comes The Pain. Another thing that I noticed was The Overall system. Notice how you can see there overalls, but you can't view there Stats, and Finisher moves.What kind of Bullshit is that? and The majority of The Overalls between The entire Male Roster is between 84, and 93! What ever happened to Variety, and Divisions to make the game more Interesting? Shut Your Mouth, and Here Comes The Pain had a Wide Roster with overalls between 50, and 93! Separating them all into divisions. Separaing the Jobbers, The Mid-Carders, The Upper-Mid-Card, and Main Event Players which made The Game more Interesting, and realistic, and they tried there best to include EVERYBODY! Now they don't! why is it that some of The characters and animations look amazing, but others look crappy? If you ask me, I think that's Pure Laziness, and why do we STILL have The same Lazy, Crappy, Lame Played-out, and repetitive Commentary? and why do we have The same Commentary Team for Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Main Event, AND Superstars?? Come-On! That's Just Lazy! Yukes is getting Lazier, and Lazier each year. The Only Good things about this game was that it had a good roster. Computers we're actually more challenging, which made matches more Interesting, and competitive. The Catch Finishers added a new experience, and feeling to the Finisher system, and made them more Interesting. I Liked being able to Double Shell-Shock, Double Chokeslam, and Double Attitude Adjustments on my opponants, and being able to slam my opponants through The barricades. Other than that it's filled with Numerous Bugs and Glitches including the same old unfixed Bugs and Glitches from the previous titles, ESPECIALLY When your playing online. Yukes is The WORST Game Developer ever! LAZY! No Imagination, No Creativity, and Graphics not up to par, numerous glitches and bugs. If WWE 2k15 doesn't offer Revolution, a Brand New Fresh Experience both ON and OFFLINE with Decent Servers, and have a NEW Developer, I will NOT be Purchasing it. I am officially Done with Wrestling games (BESIDES The Old Wrestling games like Here Comes, The Pain, Shut your Mouth, and Smackdown Vs. Raw 2006). all The True Hardcore Wrestling fans, and Hardcore Wrestling game fans can relate to this, and a New Publisher changed nothing. A New Name-change didn't change anything! I give this game maybe a 5/10. I would've gave it a 3 or a 4, had they not done a few things right in this game. I was able to get it on Sale on Christmas Season for $20 -off, and that is the only reason why I bought it. Do NOT waste your money on this Crap. If you want to try the game out, go rent it from blockbuster, or gamefly, or something, and then bring it back after a few days, or a few weeks. Once you Finish the Main story mode, and Unlock all The Characters, and Trophies like I Did, then it's really of no use to you anymore.
