Hit point ratios????????????????????????

Please someone explain to me what are hit point ratios? what does putting the percent up or down do? please details details and please dont just tell me and just say oh it just does this. give some details of how it works thanks :) ??????

Its pretty obvious - each body part has hit points assigned. So you can make a CAW with maybe a weaker head that will get injured faster and then make his body stronger by the same amount. It all has to add up to 100% in any case.
