I wasted $37 on a preowned copy a couple days after this game came out(2001-2002) As a tennis player and fan I get all the tennis games and try them out. Buying this tennis game was one the biggest mistakes I made. I was expecting fast gameplay,commentators ,realistic movements which could top virtua tennis. Instead I expererienced slow gameplay ,robotic movements from the players and retarted AI. It can take you at least 2 hours to finish one first round career match(beginners). When you become better at the slow pace game and win tourneys (which if you are paitence and want to sit and play for hours all day) your rank will go up and you will win money. You will have an enormous amount of money but you cant use it what kind of fun is that. I would think they would let you buy some outfits or some'em. So all your hard work doesnt even pay off. It gets boring very quickly after a while.The players clothing has no sponser identification like Puma tiger and rackets have no logos inprinted on them Besides the negatives the game does reinact the players attitude and grunts. At times when you play the game the right way you will see signature moves. This will take an ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF TIME TO PERFORM THEM RIGHT. You will even see the players hit under ther leg which is exciting for like five seconds and then you are bored after that point. What ever you do dont buy this game unless it is $5 or less. Its not worth what i payed for It. At least rent the game thats if they have the lousy game any where.
