There are so many great games that came out on the Dreamcast. But if there is a game that anyone can enjoy, it's this one. The original Worms game came out for the PC back in 1995 and since then different versions has been release on several other consoles. This version has a little adjustment like the previous versions. It's a very simple 2D turn based game but still most of the elements are still taken from the traditional Worms gameplay.

Each player takes controls of a team of lovely worms who battle against other teams until there is only one worm left standing, sounds really fun. You have a number of weapons to choose from including air strikes, guns, bombs etc. You also have special weapons to use like ninja ropes, transporters and drills that will allow your worms to manoeuvre around the whole battle area. Besides the excellent multiplayer experience, the game also offers 20 special training arenas to practice your skills and almost overr 40 single player missions where you play against computer teams that gets really harder as you progress. The game's humor is also the other thing that makes this game really good. If you had a bad day at work or had a terrible fight with your girlfriend/boyfriend, then playing this game will let your steam come out. There is nothing more satisfying than blowing up a pile of worms with a bazooka or grenades and see their pieces scatter around the screen. But blowing up these little guys is not enough. Planning a good winning strategy is needed also so you can make the opposing team pay. At times the CPU can retaliate even in the dying moments of the game so you have to be prepared when that happends.

Despite the addition of the new weapons as well as the terrain editor, the online feature wasn't present in the console versions. This feature which was only present in the PC version made a name to itself and also mass popularity among many gamers. The graphics of the Dreamcast version is just great. The team in Titus really did a wonderfull job on the graphics. The worms are also well designed and some of them are cute to look at while some look very notorious. The background music really makes the game wonderfull. You can spend alot of time costumizing the taunt speech from the sound bank which range from a high shrieking voice to a sarcastic voice of a drill agent. But for some reason, these voices good get annoying and very repititive. In conclusion, Worms World Party is an excellent multiplayer game and anyone can enjoy every moments of it. An excellent game if your having a house party or a gathering, im sure even non gamers will fall in love into gaming when they play a game like this. The replay value is very high as any Dreamcast owner will be playing this game for years to come. A game like this should never be forgotten and the legacy behind it will forever lived in everyone's heart.
