A step forward in some areas, a few steps back in others.

User Rating: 6.5 | Worms Reloaded PC
The formula for forms games has remained the same for a long time, and that formula is still fun in Worms Reloaded, but It's been dumbed down to it's detriment.
At least they dumped the terrible 3D Worms formula and have returned to it's roots.

The graphics for a start, while crisper than previous installments, look like they were drawn in paint. The fire looks cooler, but that's about it.
The game options, while simpler, offer less variety and customization. I miss the 'Full Wormage' from WWP. Or sudden death where the water rises every turn and you're in a cavern map. Claustrophobic!
The weapons, sure there are new ones, but the old ones are tried and true, and learning to use the new ones and finding out what they do, isn't worth the 1 in 10000 times you will actually have a practical use for them.
Some of the audio makes you laugh for an hour, then shout "shut up!" at your screen after that. If you played WWP then 80% of the voices and remarks you've already heard.
Never had any problem with bugs in other Worms games, but Reloaded is buggier than a Chinese slum apartment. Not crashes so much, just turns that don't end, buttons that don't respond, and delays that ruin your shot.
The AI is either dead accurate as a computer should be, or dead stupid like your playing against someone who's never played worms before.

Personally, I preferred Worms World Party to this. But if you want to play online, Reloaded has the players to compete against now.
